Mission  
Mission statement: The Hampton High School Counseling program is accountable for fostering the unique academic needs of all students while ensuring students are globally competitive and college and career ready. Through implementation of culturally sensitive developmental school counseling program that provides data driven activities through collaboration, counseling and consulting services resulting in students becoming effective communicators, lifelong learners and productive 21st century contributing members of society.
 
Vision
The Hampton High School's Comprehensive Counseling Program will provide programs to enhance all students social, emotional, academic and career competencies in a digitally converted personalized learning community to prepare 21st century learners. 
 
Beliefs
 
As a school counselor I will:
  • Collaboratively work with and advocate for all stakeholders
  • Provide students with a comprehensive counseling and guidance services focused
    on the areas of academic, career and personal social development
  • Meet the individual needs of all students resulting in an understanding of self and others
  • Use data in the development, implementation and assessment of the counseling program
  • Commit to the belief that all students will learn at high levels
